Quazi's Strategy:

The M1 is a new addition to the allied arsenal in DoD 2.0. Because of this, people won't hold on to old habits with this rifle. There aren't any to hold on to. This weapon is very unique. It has a 15-round mag that can be fired off at a very good rate of speed. The accuracy of this rifle is a little less than the Garand, but the ROF (rate of fire) is far superior. This weapon, therefore, can be used for many styles of play. Mostly, this should be used as an assault weapon. It's recoil will put your aim pretty high after popping off a few rounds, but, it's fairly easy to deal with. While crouched, the recoil becomes much better and makes the weapon much more effective. This allows for the movement into enemy lines. Be advised however, that the amount of shots needed to put the enemy to the ground is rather high with this weapon. 2 will not usually do the trick. Be aware of this and click that mouse button quickly while aiming at your opponent. For sniping, this weapon is actually pretty decent. While prone, the recoil is almost non-existent so the rifle becomes a faster-firing, but weaker Garand in the sniping realm. Overall, this weapon remains decent for certain things. For holding points and sniping, it has advantages over it's Thompson counter-part. But, for assault and flexibility of use, do yourself a favor and stick to the Thompson.
